Is my parking space guaranteed after booking?

Yes. Once your booking is confirmed and payment is successful, your parking space is reserved for the booked duration. A specific slot is not assigned in advance and will be allocated by the parking guard upon your arrival.

How do I enter and exit the parking location?

After booking, a unique QR Code is generated. Show the QR Code to the assigned parking guard during both entry and exit for verification.

Can I book parking in advance?

Yes. You can book a parking space in advance for the same day, subject to availability. Bookings for future dates are not currently supported.

Can I extend, cancel, or arrive late for my booking?

Yes. You can extend your parking duration before your booking expires, subject to availability. You may also cancel your booking before the parking session begins; however, no refund will be provided for cancelled bookings. There is no late arrival penalty, but your booking duration will not be extended due to a delayed arrival.

What payment methods are supported?

ParkVahan supports payments through Razorpay, including UPI, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Net Banking, and Digital Wallets (where supported).

What happens if I stay longer than my booked duration?

If your vehicle remains parked beyond the booked duration, applicable overstay charges will be calculated automatically based on the parking location's policy. The amount displayed by the system shall be considered final and must be paid before exiting the parking facility.

How do I register as a Parking Owner?

You can register as a Parking Owner by creating an Owner account, completing the required KYC verification, uploading the necessary documents, and submitting your parking location for approval.

How do I add a parking location?

After your Owner account is approved, you can add your parking location by providing the required details, parking capacity, pricing, operating hours, and other relevant information through the Owner Dashboard.

How are customer payments handled?

Customer payments are collected securely through the application using supported payment methods. Booking confirmations are generated only after successful payment.

Can I view reports and booking history?

Yes. You can access booking history, parking activity, occupancy details, and business reports through the Owner Dashboard. Export options are available where supported.

Can I operate multiple parking locations?

What is my role as a Parking Guard?

As a Parking Guard, you are responsible for verifying customer bookings, assigning parking slots, managing vehicle entry and exit, and helping ensure smooth parking operations at your assigned location.

What should I do when a customer arrives?

Verify the customer's booking by scanning the QR Code. Once the booking is verified, assign an available parking slot and allow the vehicle to enter.

What if the customer cannot access their QR Code?

If the customer is unable to access the QR Code due to a technical issue or lack of internet connectivity, you can manually verify the booking details and use the authorized manual override process to allow entry or exit.
