About ParkVahan

ParkVahan is a smart parking app built for Indian cities. It shows drivers where parking is actually available, lets them reserve a slot before they set off, takes payment in the app, and verifies entry and exit with a QR code — while giving parking owners and their guards the tools to run the site.

How the name is spelled

ParkVahan is written as one word, but people also search for it as Park Vahan, ParkVaahan, or Park Vahaan. All of these refer to the same app. The name joins the English word “park” with vahan (वाहन), the Hindi word for vehicle.

ParkVahan is an independent commercial product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Parivahan or the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. Parivahan is the Government of India portal for vehicle registration, driving licences, and RTO services. ParkVahan does not offer RTO, licence, registration, or challan services — it is a parking booking platform only.

What ParkVahan does

  • Live map of nearby parking with real-time availability, not stale listings
  • Reserve a parking slot by the hour or half hour before you leave home
  • Pay in the app via UPI, cards, net banking, or wallets through Razorpay
  • Enter and exit with a QR code that the parking guard scans and verifies
  • Extend a running booking when a meeting overruns, subject to availability

Who it is built for

Drivers stop circling the block. They see availability before setting off, reserve a slot, navigate to the gate, and pay without handling cash or paper tokens.

Parking owners set capacity, pricing, and operating hours, then track live occupancy, revenue, and staff activity from an owner dashboard instead of guessing at end-of-day totals.

Guards scan and validate bookings in seconds, verify vehicle entry and exit, and register walk-ins without breaking the occupancy count.

Who builds ParkVahan

ParkVahan is a product of AmbuGrid System, and is being rolled out across India. The Android app covers all three sides of a parking operation — the driver booking a slot, the owner running the facility, and the guard at the gate.
