For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDPA"), AmbuGrid System LLP acts as the Data Fiduciary in relation to personal data processed through ParkVahan.

• Account Information: Name, mobile number, email address, role (Customer, Parking Owner, or Guard), and password/authentication credentials.
• Vehicle Information: Vehicle registration number and, where verified through our vehicle-verification service provider, associated details such as chassis number, make, model, fuel type, and registration date.
• PAN (Permanent Account Number): Collected only from Parking Owners for income-tax compliance purposes, including TDS on payouts under the Income Tax Act, 1961, and accurate tax reporting. PAN is not collected from Customers or Guards and is not used for any other purpose.
• Business Verification Documents: GST registration certificates, business licenses, and bank account verification documents for individuals or businesses listing a parking location.
• Booking Information: Booking history, parking location, slot, entry/exit time, duration, and payment status.
• Location Information: GPS or approximate location, collected only with your permission, and geographic coordinates of listed parking locations.
• Payment Information: Transaction ID, amount, currency, payment method, payment status, refund and settlement details, and Parking Owner payout information. ParkVahan does not directly collect or store full card, UPI, or bank account numbers.
• Photos and Documents: Profile photos, parking location photos, and business verification documents uploaded by Parking Owners.
• Communication Data: One-time passwords (OTPs) and email verification codes.
• Ratings and Reviews: Ratings or reviews submitted through the App.
• Device and Notification Data: Device push-notification token, device model, operating system, app version, and diagnostic information.
• Technical Data: IP address and standard request/log data generated when you use the App.
• CCTV and Security Monitoring: Parking facilities may be monitored by CCTV installed and operated by the Parking Owner, not ParkVahan. Such footage is controlled solely by the Parking Owner, who is responsible for retention, disclosure, and legal compliance. Concerns may be raised with the Parking Owner or support@parkvahan.com.

Your information is used to:

• Create and manage your account and verify your identity via OTP.
• Verify vehicle ownership/registration details through our vehicle-verification service provider.
• Verify Parking Owner business legitimacy before a parking location is listed.
• Deduct and report tax at source on Parking Owner payouts using PAN, as required under the Income Tax Act, 1961.
• Process bookings, payments, refunds, and Parking Owner payouts.
• Calculate parking and overstay charges.
• Send booking confirmations, reminders, receipts, and operational notifications.
• Display nearby parking locations on a map.
• Provide customer support and respond to queries or complaints.
• Improve our services, prevent fraud or misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your personal information for any purpose incompatible with the purposes stated at the time of collection, except with your consent or as permitted by law.

Notifications and emails relating to OTP verification, bookings, payments, and account activity are transactional and necessary for the App to function. Promotional or marketing communications will only be sent with your consent, and you may opt out at any time.

We share limited information only when necessary to operate ParkVahan, with database and cloud storage providers, payment gateway providers, SMS/OTP and push notification providers, vehicle-verification providers, email providers, mapping providers, cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, tax authorities and statutory bodies, government authorities or law enforcement agencies where required by law, and Parking Owners and authorized Guards with the booking and vehicle details needed to manage a Customer booking.

Where service providers process personal data on behalf of AmbuGrid System LLP as a Data Processor under the DPDPA, processing is governed by appropriate contractual arrangements requiring adequate security safeguards and use only for the purposes for which the data was shared.

Certain service providers, including mapping and infrastructure or notification providers, may process or store personal data on servers outside India. Such processing is carried out only as necessary to provide the relevant feature and in accordance with the DPDPA, including restrictions on transfers to specific countries or territories notified by the Central Government of India.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted communication (HTTPS/TLS), authenticated access to backend systems, and role-based access controls. PAN and business verification documents are stored with restricted, authenticated access, and PAN is masked by default in internal views, with full access limited to systems and personnel responsible for tax compliance and payout processing.

While we implement reasonable safeguards consistent with applicable law, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

In the event of a personal data breach, AmbuGrid System LLP will take reasonable steps to contain, assess, and mitigate the breach, and provide notice to affected users and, where required, the Data Protection Board of India or other relevant authority in the manner and timelines prescribed under the DPDPA.

ParkVahan does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not use your data for cross-app or cross-site behavioral advertising or tracking. If this changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and request any consent required under applicable law, including App Tracking Transparency on iOS where applicable.

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, provide services, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

• Account and vehicle information - retained while your account is active.
• Business verification documents, including PAN - retained while the listing is active and thereafter for the minimum period required for tax and financial recordkeeping.
• Booking and payment records - retained as required for accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes.
• OTPs and verification codes - retained briefly for verification and then discarded.

Once the purpose of processing is no longer being served and retention is not required by law, we securely delete or anonymize your personal data.

You may delete your ParkVahan account at any time through Settings -> Account -> Delete Account.

• Your profile, vehicle details, and personal information are permanently deleted from our active systems.
• Business verification documents associated with a Parking Owner account are deleted, except where PAN or payout-linked tax records must be retained under applicable law.
• Booking and payment records legally required for tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes may be retained for the minimum period required by law, after which they are securely deleted or anonymized.
• Deletion requests are processed within the period prescribed under applicable law, subject to legally required retention.

If you are unable to complete deletion within the app, you may request deletion by emailing support@parkvahan.com from your registered email or mobile number.

Subject to applicable law, including the DPDPA, you have the right to access, correct, update, withdraw consent, request erasure, nominate another individual in the event of death or incapacity, and seek grievance redressal.

ParkVahan is intended only for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly permit persons below 18 years of age to create an account or use the Services. If we become aware that personal data of a person below 18 has been collected contrary to applicable law, we will take appropriate steps, including deletion of that data.

• Location: To discover nearby parking spaces and display parking locations on a map.
• Camera: To scan QR Codes during parking entry and exit, and capture photos for verification or listing purposes.
• Notifications: To send booking updates, reminders, and account alerts.
• Storage/Photos: To upload profile photos, parking photos, and verification documents.

Permissions are requested when needed and can be reviewed, granted, or withdrawn through device settings. Declining a permission may limit the related feature but will not prevent use of the rest of the app. We do not access your contact list, call logs, or SMS messages, and we do not read the content of your text messages.

To support login sessions and app functionality, ParkVahan stores authentication tokens securely on your device using secure credential storage and stores limited session and preference data locally. This data remains on your device and is not shared with third parties beyond what is described in Section 4.

In accordance with applicable Indian law, including the DPDPA and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the Grievance Officer for AmbuGrid System LLP is:

Complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours of receipt and redressed within one month, in accordance with applicable law.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Pune, Maharashtra, India.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or operational practices, including when new features are introduced. The updated Policy will be published within the app and on our website with a revised Last Updated date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice and, where required by law, seek renewed consent. Where consent is not legally required, the updated Policy will become effective on the stated effective date.
