Account Deletion Request
At ParkVahan, we respect your privacy and provide you with the option to delete your account and associated personal information.
You can delete your ParkVahan account directly from the ParkVahan mobile application using the account deletion option available in your account settings. If you are unable to delete your account through the application, you can submit an account deletion request by email using the process described below.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1
Through the ParkVahan app
You can request account deletion from within the ParkVahan mobile application.
- 1Open the ParkVahan application.
- 2Go to your Account/Profile settings.
- 3Select the Delete Account option.
- 4Submit your deletion request.
Your account deletion request will be processed according to ParkVahan's applicable data deletion and retention requirements.
Option 2
Request deletion by email
If you are unable to access the account deletion option in the ParkVahan application, you can request deletion of your account by sending an email to:
support@parkvahan.comPlease send the request from the email address associated with your ParkVahan account, where applicable. Please include:
- Your registered name
- Registered phone number
- Registered email address, if applicable
- Subject: ParkVahan Account Deletion Request
For security and verification purposes, we may request additional information to verify that the request belongs to the account owner.
Submitting an email request does not delete your account immediately. The request will be reviewed and processed by the ParkVahan team.
What Happens to Your Data
What data will be deleted?
When your account deletion request is processed, the following personal information associated with your account will be deleted, where applicable:
- Personal profile details
- Registered phone number
- Vehicle registration details
- Push notification tokens
Account-related personal information that is no longer required for providing the service will be removed in accordance with our data deletion practices.
What data may be retained?
Some information may need to be retained where required for legal, regulatory, accounting, tax, security, or compliance purposes.
Past payment and tax settlement records
Past payment and tax settlement records may be retained where required under applicable legal and tax requirements, including requirements under the Income Tax Act, 1961, for legal, accounting, audit, or compliance purposes.
Such retained information will not be retained for ordinary account functionality and will be kept only for the period required by applicable requirements.
Account Deletion and Data Retention
Account deletion removes the personal information that is eligible for deletion. Certain records may continue to be retained where ParkVahan is legally required to retain them.
Retention of such records does not mean that your ParkVahan account remains active.
